Having stayed in this fascinating ‘gourmet’ bed and breakfast establishment we can highly recommend it.  The building itself is a refurbished 3 storey colonial style inn

perched on a high cliff overlooking the beach, about 13 miles west of Nassau and 5 minutes by cab from the airport.  Full of antiques, leather chairs and rugs, the agreeable atmosphere resembles that of  an old manor home.  Outside there’s a swimming pool with waterfall.  An excellent breakfast is included in the price and lunch is available.  Try eating out in the evening at the delightful Traveller’s Rest, just a five minute walk down the hill.
